Shipping hazardous materials (hazmat) can be complicated — but ShipGenius helps simplify that process for both individuals and businesses by clearly defining what’s allowed, and under what conditions.
We support a specific list of hazmat items that are safe to ship under standard carrier rules. We also allow additional hazmat shipments for businesses with approved carrier accounts.
🚚 Hazmat Items ShipGenius Supports for All Users
The following hazmat materials are supported for individual ShipGenius Lite users using USPS rates:

These materials are widely accepted under domestic shipping rules when properly declared and packaged. 🏢 What About Businesses with Their Own Carrier Account?
If you connect your own FedEx or UPS account and have hazmat permissions enabled with that carrier, ShipGenius allows your account to pass through your hazmat shipments normally.
This includes shipments such as:
Flammable liquids
Gases or aerosols
Biological samples
Corrosive substances
🔐 ShipGenius does not override carrier restrictions. We pass through hazmat capabilities based on your carrier account settings.
