Once you’ve created a shipment and printed your label through ShipGenius Lite, the next step is physically dropping off your package with your carrier. Here's exactly what to do depending on the carrier you selected:

After purchasing a USPS label, you can drop off your package at any of the following USPS-approved locations:

✅ 1. Your Local Post Office

  • Bring the package to any retail USPS location.

  • Head to the “Packages & Drop Off” counter or use the Self-Service Kiosk.

  • No need to wait in line if the label is prepaid — just hand it over or use the designated bin.

  • If your package is small enough (typically <13 oz), you can place it inside a blue mailbox.

  • Must have a prepaid USPS label with correct postage.

  • Avoid using this option if the package needs a scan receipt.

  • USPS offers free package pickup from your home or office.

  • Schedule it via USPS.com after you’ve purchased the label.

📦 Dropping Off a UPS Shipment

If you selected UPS as your carrier, you have multiple drop-off options:

✅ 1. UPS Store

  • Head to any UPS Store location.

  • Present your package with its printed UPS label — staff can scan and confirm drop-off.

  • Get a drop-off receipt if you want proof.

  • Many convenience stores, pharmacies (like CVS or Michaels), and lockers serve as UPS Access Points.

  • Simply drop off your package — no line required.

  • Ideal for small to medium prepaid packages.

  • Located outside office buildings, campuses, shopping centers, etc.

  • Only use if your package fits and already has a UPS label.

  • May include a small fee depending on your UPS account.
