📦 The Ship Page

Manage and create addresses & packages directly while preparing a shipment. The Ship Page is your primary workspace in ShipGenius Lite. From here, you can:

• Select or create To and From addresses.

• Quickly enter package dimensions, weight, or choose from saved templates.

• Use integrated carrier packaging (e.g., USPS Flat Rate boxes).

• Generate rates, purchase labels, and ship — all in one place.

When shipping something new, this is the fastest and most intuitive way to input addresses or create new ones without navigating away.

The Ship Page is your go-to for creating shipments and defining how your items will be packaged. From here, you can:

• Choose from your saved custom packages (e.g., “Small Box”, “Bubble Mailer”).

• Create a new package on the fly — just enter length, width, height, and weight.

• Use carrier-specific packaging, like USPS Flat Rate boxes or UPS Express envelopes.

• Easily toggle between custom and carrier packaging based on what’s most efficient.

Any new packages you define here are immediately available for reuse in future shipments.

📦 Manage Your Saved Packages

Organize all of your custom packages in one place.

The Package Manager gives you a clear, sortable list of all your stored packages. Here, you can:

• Create new presets with custom dimensions and weight.

• Assign a friendly name like "Books Box" or "Holiday Shipments".

• Edit or delete any existing package.

• Designate packages as default for quicker checkout on future shipments.

This is perfect for businesses or frequent shippers who use consistent box sizes or soft packs.

🗂️ Manage Your Shipping Addresses

Easily edit, manage, and create new address entries from the full address interface.

The Address Book Manager gives you complete control over your saved shipping addresses. You can:

• View your full list of addresses by name, location, or label (e.g., "Mom’s House", "Main Office").

• Edit any existing address.

• Add new entries using a guided form.

• Tag addresses as residential or commercial for better rate accuracy.

All your addresses are synced across ShipGenius Lite, so they’ll appear in dropdowns on the Ship Page and other workflows.

✍️ Creating an Address

Add a new address in seconds — from anywhere in the app.

You can create a new address via:

• The Ship Page ("Create New Address Here" button)

• The Address Manager ("New Address" option)

• The Profile Page under Address settings

Each method opens the same intuitive form:

• Input name, company, street address, city, state, ZIP

• Auto-validates address and tags as residential or commercial

• Optionally save as the default

Every address you create is stored securely and immediately available for use on any shipment.

✍️ Creating a Package

Define a new package in seconds — no extra clicks needed.

You can create a new package from:

• The Ship Page ("Create New Package Here" button)

• The Package Manager interface

• Your Profile Page

Each method brings up a clean, intuitive form:

• Choose a packaging type: Box, Envelope, or Soft Pack

• Enter dimensions and weight

• Optionally set as your default or give it a nickname for easy identification

All created packages are saved to your account and ready to be used instantly in your next shipment.
